The AGV K-1 is the latest addition to the range of full face helmets by Italian manufacturer AGV. We have been looking forward to the K-1 a lot, because it fills a void in the AGV collection! If you're looking for a high quality sports helmet without having to break the bank, this is the one to get! It's positioned next to the K-3 SV, but it's more sports riding oriented than its sibling. They share the same outer shell, but the K-1 is more aimed at racing. This means the K-1 does not have an internal drop down sun visor, but in return you get features clearly derived from the Pista GP-R: Check out the large rear spoiler to provide stability at high speed and the air intake ports to ensure great airflow into the helmet to keep you cool while you're taking yourself and your bike to the limit! The K-1 has a double-D ring chin strap buckle so this helmet is absolutely perfect for track days!

Let's take a look at the K-1 from a technical standpoint. The thermoplastic outer shell is made in 2 sizes (XS-MS and ML-XXL) to keep the size and weight of the helmet down. The EPS shell has no less than 4 different densities to provide maximum protection. The EPS liner comes in 4 different sizes to offer the best possible fit. The anti-scratch visor is Pinlock ready (Pinlock lens sold separately). The interior is made of Dry-Comfort material, which is soft to the touch, completely removable and washable.
