The somewhat older readers among us will certainly still remember them: the adventure books of Wipneus and Pim. In the past, they were a staple in every child's bedroom. They are still popular today. And that is quite remarkable, because the first title appeared in 1948 and the last in 1985. The world of the little gnomes Wipneus and Pim, the elves, the witches and other special characters clearly still appeals to the imagination.
