De VMA432 is een add-on voor de Arduino. Het is een gemakkelijke manier om de Arduino als DMX-mastertoestel (zender) te gebruiken. Het board is gebaseerd op een driver chip (MAX-485 of SN 75176). DMX-uitgangsconnector is XLR 3-polig mannelijk. Pin 1 = massa, Pin2 = data-, Pin3 = data+. De PCB zet het 5V Arduino-signaal om in -2.5 V/+2.5 V voor RS485 (DMX is gebaseerd op RS485-protocol). Impedantie 100 O.- werkspanning: 5 V
