How do I use the MAM Easy Active baby bottle?

Clean before first and every subsequent use. When using the baby bottle for the first time, place all components separately in boiling water for five minutes. To ensure proper cleaning and sterilization, all bottle parts must be disassembled. Cleaning and sterilizing the baby bottle while it is assembled may damage it.

Is the baby bottle dishwasher safe?

Yes. You can place it on top of the dishwasher rack (max. 65 ° C / 149 F), but food coloring may stain the design components of the bottle. You can also clean it with a soft sponge or a soft-bristled brush. Do not use hard scouring pads as this may scratch the plastic surface.

What are the safe methods to sterilize the MAM Easy Active baby bottle?

There are three methods: steam sterilization (electric or microwave), boiling in water for at least five minutes, or by immersion in a liquid sterilizing solution.

What is the baby bottle made of?

The MAM Easy Active Baby Bottle is made of polypropylene, a BPA-free material. It is hygienic, easy to clean and relatively soft. Do not apply heavy pressure to it, as this may affect its function.

I am using the baby bottle for the first time and the feeding hole of the teat is so small. What should I do?

When first used and sometimes during use, the ventilation slot (in the raised bell at the bottom of the teat base) may stick together. This prevents air from entering during feeding and causes the teat to collapse. Brush the ventilation hole a few times with your thumb or finger to reopen the hole. Please do not use a pin or a pointed object to enlarge the teat hole!

Is this safe for my baby?

Yes. Together with other MAM products, these are free from BPA and BPS materials.

What is BPA?

BPA or Bisphenol A is a requirement in the production of plastic polycarbonate, which is used to make things like food packaging, plastic tableware, baby bottles and baby cups.

What is BPD?

BPS or Bisphenol S is a compound of BPA.

Why should I be careful with BPA and BPS in the products I use for my baby?

Studies may not be complete yet, but researchers believe that BPA gradually releases from plastic and enters the body, causing health damage. Since BPA is banned in baby products in Europe, all MAM products are made from BPA-free materials in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 321/2011.
