Always place the gate directly on the floor / stairs. If the safety gate is installed at the top of the stairs, it must not be installed under the highest step. If the safety gate is installed at the bottom of the stairs, it must be installed in front of the lowest step. This product cannot prevent accidents. Never leave your child unattended. This gate is designed for children up to 24 months. However, adjust this guideline to the development of your child, as skills may vary depending on age. If a red indicator is visible after installation, the gate must not be used in the opening in question, as it will not withstand the required minimum pressure. When mounting on brick, plaster or other uneven surfaces, it may be necessary to attach a smooth surface such as a wooden strip to the wall. If the gate is damaged or has been involved in an accident, it must not be reused. Only use original spare parts for this product. The safety gate has a manual locking system. Always check that the safety gate is closed and locked correctly. The safety gate must be checked regularly to ensure that it is secure and functioning in accordance with the instructions for use. This safety gate is made of metal. Only use warm soapy water or a damp cloth to clean the gate. Do not use abrasives or bleach to clean this gate. Wall caps, place the self-adhesive pads between the wall caps and the wall / frame or screw the wall caps in accordance with the markings. Important: When using self-adhesive pads, the surface must be cleaned with alcohol before attaching the pads to the surface. Do not clean the surface with an oil or soapy product. Self-adhesive pads can only be used on smooth surfaces such as painted, varnished or sanded wood or on smooth metal surfaces. Self-adhesive pads cannot be used on glass, bricks, carpet, wallpaper or other loose surfaces / materials. Important: The screws supplied are only suitable for use in wood. When attaching to other materials, you must use the appropriate screws and wall plugs. (diameter 4 mm).
