Shortly after birth, your newborn baby wants to be very close to you – day and night. Baby Carrier Mini is a small, user-friendly baby carrier that you can quickly put on or take off without help. It is perfect for carrying your baby regularly for a short while, rocking them to sleep or comforting them, while at the same time keeping your hands free for other things. If your baby falls asleep in the baby carrier, you can easily open the entire front section to take the little one out without waking him or her.

The wonderfully soft material makes the baby carrier comfortable for your baby and gentle on the delicate skin. It is comfortable for your baby's back, legs and hips and offers good support. The flexible material allows you to control the position and the natural C-shape of the back with your hands. A sturdy, adjustable headrest provides good support for your little one's head and neck.

Small and easy to use
Baby Carrier Mini is our most user-friendly baby carrier, as there are only a few buckles to adjust. This allows you to quickly put it on, day or night, to rock your little one to sleep. You can easily detach the entire front section to take out your sleeping baby. The size and head support are fully adjustable, so the baby carrier virtually 'grows' with your little one.

Extremely soft and flexible
The wonderfully soft materials of Baby Carrier Mini give your baby a nice feeling on the delicate skin. The baby carrier lies softly around your baby's back, legs and hips and offers good support for a pleasant ergonomically responsible position. Thanks to the flexible material you can control the position and the natural C-shape of the back with your hands.

The materials used are specially developed for BABYBJÖRN baby carriers and specifically designed for newborn babies. Our mesh and jersey baby carriers are made of 3D material that consists of three layers: an inner, an outer and a middle layer. Instead of a padding that can make the baby carrier too warm, the middle layer is made of a fine, single-fiber yarn. This gives the baby carrier the stability of a filling, while still allowing good airflow, so that it stays airy and cool when you carry your baby.

3D Jersey
Our newest and softest material feels as comfortable as your favorite T-shirt. The velvety soft, flexible material gives your baby a wonderful feeling when wearing.

3D Mesh
Cool and airy mesh fibres, with a wonderfully soft inner layer on your baby's skin. The mesh material ensures good air circulation and dries quickly after washing.

Cotton
BCI-certified cotton with a little stretch in the seat area, woven satin for a nice soft and pleasant feel. A thin middle layer makes your baby carrier small, compact and flexible.

Small
Baby Carrier Mini is small, making it easy to fit in your diaper bag or under your stroller when you don't need it.

Sturdy, adjustable head support Good head support is very important for newborns and in the first five months, until they can hold their head up by themselves. Baby Carrier Mini has a sturdy, adjustable head and neck support.

You keep your hands free
With your little one in the baby carrier, you keep your hands free for other things. Ideal when your newborn wants to be very close to you.

Wear on the chest facing towards or away from you
Once your little one is a little bigger, you can choose to carry him or her facing you or away from you. If you want to carry your baby facing away from you, he or she must be at least five months old.

AGE AND WEIGHT
Most suitable in the first five months of life. Tested and found safe for 0–1 year (min. 3.2 kg, max. 11 kg).

If you want to carry your baby facing away from you, he or she should be at least five months old and weigh no more than 11 kg. You can use the leg straps to make the leg openings smaller for babies between 3.2 and 4.5 kg.

Seat area with stretch
The special fabric in the seat area provides a stretch effect so that the baby carrier supports your baby's legs and hips correctly and comfortably.

MATERIAL
All materials are kind to baby skin and safe to touch with the mouth. They are guaranteed to contain no harmful substances and comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, category 1 for baby products. We think that is very important! Our 3D Mesh and 3D Jersey are 3D fabrics - or intermediate fabrics. This means that they consist of three layers: an inner, an outer and an intermediate layer. Instead of padding, the intermediate layer is made of a fine, single-fibre thread that keeps the layer airy, so that the fabric 'breathes'. The 3D fabrics that we use for our baby carriers provide stability, good ventilation and smooth heat and moisture dissipation

Baby Carrier Mini is available in three different soft materials:
3D Jersey: Main material: 80% polyester, 16% cotton, 4% elastane. Carrying harness: 100% cotton
3D Mesh: 100% polyester mesh. The technically advanced 3D Mesh has a wonderfully soft middle layer that feels pleasant on your baby's delicate skin. The outer layer is made of non-elastic, durable mesh. Our coolest and most breathable baby carrier.
Cotton: 100% BCI certified cotton
BCI-certified cotton sateen Wonderfully soft and pleasant on your baby's delicate skin. BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) means that the cotton is produced more sustainably: better for the environment and also better for the people who make it

TESTED AND PROVEN SAFE
Baby Carrier Mini complies with the European standard EN 13209-2:2015 and the American safety standard ASTM F2236.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Machine washable at 40°C. Wash separately. Use an environmentally friendly, mild detergent without bleach. Do not tumble dry.
