White Goblin Games Ka Pai: Orokohanga scoreblocks In Māori mythology, there is a creation story of the Earth Goddess and the Sky Father. The sky and the earth, father and mother, hold each other so tightly that there is no light on earth and no space to live in. Their three children Rongo, Tangaroa and Haumia-Tiketike are forced to live in the cramped darkness between them. In order to separate their parents, they come up with a plan. Ka Pai – Orokohanga has seven special areas of three connected fields: the crops, the sea and the plants. Each space represents one of the three children; Rongo is the god of crops, Tangaroa the god of the sea and Haumia-TikeTike the god of plants. All three children work together to push father and mother apart by growing crops and plants using water from the sea.
