The specimen, for example a mosquito’s wing or indoor plant thin slice, is placed on the round-shaped stage and then fixed with two clamps. These clamps won’t let the sample move out of view. Lower light passes through the sample and forms an image. You can also adjust the brightness level for getting the best results with different samples.
