The dock gives you the ability to keep a Thunderbolt™ 3 port and add several standard connections. The connections include, USB-C™ 3.1 Gen 1, 4K HDMI™, USB™ 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A x2 and a USB™ 3.0 microSD™ and SD™ card reader/writer through the two Thunderbolt™ 3 male connectors on the other side of the dock.
