After the dongle is installed, your e-bike display will show real data, such as maximum and average speeds, daily mileage and cruising range.

The tuning kit is activated directly on your eBike’s display or control. The most common way to activate Your Tuning kit in US is by pressing '+-+-' or '-+-+'.

IF the WALK button is active on your eBike you can activate it by pressing ‘WALK and then +' (especially for 2020 models).

A value of 6.1mph on your display will indicate that the Tuning kit is activated. From now on you will be able to ride at a speed over 25mph, 30mph and even more than 37mph - as much as you can pedal!

To deactivate the tuning kit, press the the same sequence you did for activation. The value of 1.6 mph will appear on your display and the speed limit will reset to 15mph. Your e-bike will then work the same as before installation of the Tuning kit.

When using SpeedBox 3.0 with Bosch motors of the 4th Generation (from 2020) the eBike must remain turned ON after each ride for the CountDown (you will see digits on speedo counting down to zero) until the display shows a constant speed of 0.0mph. During this phase, the display shows the remaining time (in minutes). Or you can let the count-down finish on it’s own, and the bike will auto-shut down afterwards. Then you can park the bike safely and look forward to the next ride. Try not to skip CountDown. If you turn it off by accident once in a while before CountDown is finished, nothing will happen. Just make sure to leave the CountDown go to zero the next trip. If you fail to do so more than 3-5 times in a row - an error code might pop-up.

Please be aware that the Tuning kit does not add extra power to your eBike motor. it only removes speed limits and enables you to ride as fast as you can pedal.

You can set the maximum speed of an electric motor assistance by changing riding modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco. An actual speed limit will be displayed after that.

The maximum speed of an electric motor assistance can be set by pressing the 'WALK' button shortly or by turning the rear wheel 360° . The value of 0.93 mph on the display corresponds with the limit of 9.3 mph, 1.2 mph corresponds with the limit of 12.4 mph, 1.5 mph corresponds with 15.5 mph, 1.8 mph corresponds with 18.6 mph, 6.1 mph corresponds with 61.5 mph etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity

Bosch diagnostic is not able to find if you were using SpeedBox or not.

Also, please be aware that all the tuning kits are carefully tested before sending it out to You.

Will SpeedBox Bosch 3.0 work with my eBike?

This tuning kit is compatible with all eBikes that have Bosch Motor manufactured from 2014-2021 (4Gen; 3Gen; 2Gen;).

Including all Active Line, Active Line Plus, Performance Line and Performance Line CX models including motors of the 4th generation. Even with the latest update!
